Diorama Assignment Progress
This is my active work-in-progress diorama thread! I have to make a diorama based on a chosen assigned concept, and I will update here weekly to show my progress. Any and all feedback is appreciated, I'm still very much new to the Maya scene and 3D in general but I'm eager to learn!
Week 1. This is the Diorama concept I chose. Our teacher named it 'Stylized_Lighthouse', but I don't think it works all too well as a lighthouse, so the name is just a suggestion to me.
Week 1. I color-coded the pieces I thought could be modular.
Week 1. These are the colors I intend to use on my diorama. Nothing is completely set in stone, but I really like the lightgreen with purple combination.
Week 1. We had to draw a backview to our diorama concept. Looking back (this being written in week 3), I can tell there are some inconsistencies with the proportions, but it's not too bad.
Week 1. A fellow student advised I should try to draw the top view, as I was struggling to understand the backview of my diorama. I think it helped.

Week 2. This was the first time I made a UV. I got help from my teacher making the texture (it was just for practice). I intend on using a trim sheet for my tower body.
